Laurie Cohen Silverman, LCSW
Laurie Cohen Silverman, LCSW is a licensed independent social worker who received her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Work. Her clinical specialties include treatment of anxiety and depression, grief/loss, trauma, pregnancy and post-partum adjustment, and co-parenting during/post-divorce. She is available for individual, family, and couple treatment. Laurie is a facilitator of the free ABC: Adjustment to Babies Challenges Circle Post-partum support group. She utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach and utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) in the treatment of anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
