Jeryl Brown, LCSW
Jeryl Brown, LCSW, has been a psychotherapist since receiving her MSW in 1978 from Yeshiva University, and has been a clinician at PHA since 1992.
Jeryl works with therapy clients around life transitions, anxiety, and depression. She has also worked with many clients around bereavement issues, parenting and behavior management tools, and the work of finding one’s voice in both work and personal relationships. “Helping my clients “untangle their knots” is one way a client of mine defined my perspective as a therapist.”
As a meditator and teacher of Mindfulness based interventions for over 20 years, Jeryl offers Mindfulness skills as an excellent complement to talk therapy, which is helpful to manage anxiety and cultivate clarity to make changes and move forward in life. Jeryl teaches Mindfulness in a variety of settings, including small groups and corporate trainings.
